In celebration of International Youth Day, our Youth Organizing Institute 2022 Fellows registered voters and gave away school supplies at the Youth Day event planned by Long Island’s District 1 Youth Advisory Board.
YOI Partners with Elmont Cultural Center for First Doorknocking Get-Out-the-Vote Campaign in Elmont
After receiving thorough training on canvassing and digital tools for fieldwork, our 3 teams of Fellows knocked on an incredible 67 doors of 199 registered BIPOC voters in Elmont.
